Goat milk soap—a fan-favorite and our first-ever product. Our cold-process soaps are made in small-batches, using milk from our goat herd to soothe and nourish all skin types.

Our Clove + Cinnamon + Anise soap is designed to invigorate and purify oily or blemish-prone skin. Ground Cinnamon offers gentle exfoliation and antimicrobial properties to help combat acne, while clove and star anise essential oils help increase circulation and reduce inflammation.

INGREDIENTS:

Goat milk, olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil (RSPO-certified), ground cinnamon, castor oil, sodium hydroxide (none remains after saponification), clove essential oil, star anise essential oil.

A NOTE ON OUR PROCESS + THE USE OF PALM OIL:

We use nourishing goat milk as the base for all of our handmade soaps. Goat milk is rich in lactic acid, vitamins, and minerals to help renew and strengthen skin (learn more about the benefits of goat milk in our soaps here). We also add additional nourishing plant butters and fats so our soaps maintain more nutritive properties throughout the soap-making process. This means your skin will receive an extra dose of moisture while cleansing.

When we first began making soaps commercially, we felt passionately that we wanted to source our raw ingredients with sustainability and respect for the Earth in mind. However, as the years have gone we’ve come to the realization that even producers using the strictest certifications for palm oil production are contributing to deforestation, habitat degradation, climate change, animal cruelty, and indigenous rights violations in a way we do not wish to contribute to. Since this realization, we have been left with the issue of needing to use the remainder of our palm oil stores and sell off the remainder of our palm oil based soaps before we can move towards other options that are gentler on this earth. It is our intention to use the remainder of our palm oil (in keeping with our commitment to minimizing waste in our processes) before reformulating our recipes. SLIDING SCALE PRICING

Sliding scale pricing honors the fact that we all have different access to resources and can be a way for community to support itself. Simply put, people who pay on the higher end of the scale support people who pay on the lower end. This allows us, as farmers and healers, to provide herbal remedies, basic household essentials, access to small joys in life, and spells of self-care to more people. Paying on the higher end of the scale is an act of solidarity that recognizes that everyone deserves access to earth-concious products and the healing arts.
